Today's interview is with Ashley Marie LeBaron owner and operator of Ashley Marie Soap in St. George Utah. In this episode Ashley talks about a mentor that helped her learn the soap business and taught her through her actions to always pay it forward to others. She talked a lot about what made her successful at social media how small business owners need to use their local small business development center because it is a great resource.

Ashley's journey started when she set out create Christmas presents for her large family one year rather than buy them something generic. That's when she discovered soap making. She bought a soap making book and her first batch blew up in her face, literally. She tried again and it worked, her whole family loved the thoughtful gift, so she tried a few more batches. She posted them for sale on Facebook and after her first sale, the rest was history.
